Friday, December 4th, 2009

If you look back 10 to 15 years ago, you will see that pc laptop computers have changed dramatically. Cheap laptop computers are now available that are low in price but high in power and features. Because of the affordability, it is no wonder that millions of people own one or more laptops. Best of all, laptops can be used for college work, business, to stay in touch with family or friends, or to enjoy online gaming. While you could go with one of the larger designs, keep in mind that you also have multiple choices for smaller computer designs.

In addition to smaller size, pc laptop computers are now made to be lighter in weight and more powerful so you get incredible speed. With this, the computer becomes portable so you can take it with you no matter where you need to go while having access to the built-in mouse, keyboard, and even web cam. You will also find that most of the PC laptop computers on the market today also have batteries that last a long time and burning capabilities for CDs and DVDs.

A small number of people still prefer the desktop computer but with pc laptop computers now offering so much, most people switch. With these small devices being so easy to carry, they are the ideal option for young people going to college, business executives who travel often, or anyone that loves traveling for vacation. Then, with wireless technology, any place with a nearby router provides access to the internet such as a local restaurant or coffee shop, hotel room, conference center, airport terminal, and so on. Because of the new battery design, you can also work on the computer plugged in or simply run off battery power.

You will even find that the PC laptop computers of today, they come in varying sizes. For instance, if you want a smaller laptop, you could go with one that measures 10×8 inches with a 13-inch monitor. On the other hand, you could choose a larger version, a laptop measuring 15×11 inches with a 17-inch monitor. Even the thickness of current laptops has been reduced in size, now being as thin as 0.7 inches. Remember, smaller PC laptop computers do not cut down on power or features.

Laptops have always had a close down lid design, which is intentional. With the lid down, the keyboard, mouse, and monitor are protected from spills, impact, and dust. In fact, some lids simply close while others are designed with locks. The weight of PC laptop computers has also changed significantly. Years ago, laptops were extremely heavy but now, they weigh 12 pounds or less, making it easy to carry them around.

As most people know, the PC in PC laptop computers stands for personal computer, which is exactly what it is. Although this type of computer was first invented in the 1970s, the evolution has amazing. Initially, laptops were extremely heavy, they had no wireless technology, features were outdated, and they cost thousands of dollars. By 1972, the Dynabook was developed by a Xerox employee and then 10 years later, the Epson HX-20 and Osborne 1 were introduced to the public. While each new laptop was better than then one before, they were still expensive.

The design of PC laptop computers of today is without doubt vastly different. Remember, the size and weight are less but the power is more. Then, when you consider that laptops can be purchased for as little as $700 instead of the earlier $6,000, it is easy to see why so many people now own a PC, if not one or more laptops.

Remember, just because the price of PC laptop computers has decreased does not mean you have less power, speed, or features, in fact, it is just the opposite. Therefore, no matter the reason for using the laptop, work, school, or personal use, you will love the portability. Just having all the power and incredible features whenever and wherever needed is why PC laptop computers are so amazing.

While technology in general has changed over the last 10 years, making life easier and more convenient, pc laptop computers have by far made the most change. In addition to the computer itself evolving, everything about the computer has been enhanced. This means computers today are smaller, faster, and they cost far less than a decade ago.

For this, we want to suggest the notebook, which is smaller, more portable, and less expensive than the standard size laptop.

If you have not looked at PC laptop computers for quite some time, chances are you will be amazed at how much technology has changed. While most computers are not much lighter than those years ago, the extra power and speed, along with features is what makes laptops so exciting.

Even though people all look for something different, having a computer with a web cam, built-in keyboard and mouse, battery that lasts longer, DVD/CD burning drive, and wireless technology means you get everything needed and more.

Of course, you could stick with a desktop computer, which still works great, but the mobility and built-in features associated with PC laptop computers make them the favorite choice. This means you can take the computer wherever you go and have internet connection, allowing you to email, handle business meetings, or simply play online games.

As long as your computer has wireless technology, you can be connected to the internet from your hotel room, the airport or even while lounging by the pool or on the beach. To save battery life, you would simply use a nearby electrical outlet and then work online just as you would from home.

One of the greatest and most noticeable changes in PC laptop computers is physical size. For the smaller options, a computer measuring 10×8 inches with a 13-inch screen is common although you could go with a larger laptop, one that measures 11×15 inches and with a full, 17-inch screen.

One the thicker side, computers are 1.5 inches and on the smaller side, just 0.7 inches. Thanks to the thinner design, even the weight of today’s computers has decreased, adding the mobility and convenience.
